Beauty and beast, FACE TO FACE, POP-EYED BEAUTY, Cricket on calendula flower. This creature is my favorite model. It often visits our conservatory and do not rush to run away. I can put it of flower and it starts to nibbling the petals, I can take it to water and it starts drinking. It likes to give me a long look, kindly and patiently allowing to be photographed. After a photographic session I put it to the garden, trying to hide it in a grass, warring if a naughty bird can get it. A curious Character "... insects can see the colors. That adds a question: does this aesthetic sense we have also exist in lower forms of life?" - Richard P Feynman, the Nobel Prize winner physicist.

FROM SCIENCE TO ART I was graduated as a physicist, had a scientific career in the USSR Academy of Sciences, then in Europe and finally in the UK. It is great to discover the secrets of nature, not easy but very inspiring! Apart from my interest in science as long as I can remember I have been interested in the arts. Being a scientist requires imagination and creativity, which helped me to get a step into the world of art. I am inspired by photography as a medium of self-expression.
